Compassion Connection

Feeding families. Sharing hope. Showing the love of Jesus.

Neighbors Helping Neighbors

For more than 25 years, Compassion Connection has opened the doors of Trinity Church to our neighbors in Harrison and the surrounding communities. What began as a simple desire to meet a need has grown into a cherished monthly tradition, a place where no one is a stranger, every guest is welcomed by name, and everyone has a seat at the table.

Our Heart

We believe caring for one another is one of the clearest ways to show the love of Christ. Every bag of groceries is packed with care, and every guest is greeted with a warm smile, a kind word, and the dignity they deserve. Whether you are walking through a hard season or just need a little help stretching the month, you will find more than food here. You will find friends who care.

When & Where

The Third Friday of Every Month • 11:30 AM – 1:30 PM

Join us in the Threshing Floor at Trinity Church, 236 E Park St, Harrison, MI. Everyone is welcome. Just come as you are.

Need a Little Help?

You are always welcome here.

Life can be hard, and none of us were meant to carry it alone. If you or your family could use some help putting food on the table, please come see us on the third Friday of the month between 11:30 AM and 1:30 PM. Our volunteers will be glad to meet you. Please bring your own boxes, bags, or a cart to carry your groceries home. Questions? Call the church office at 989-539-7479.

Ways to Help

Compassion Connection is made possible by caring volunteers and generous neighbors. You can help by serving on distribution day, donating non-perishable food, or giving to support the pantry. Every can, every hour, and every gift is a way of saying, “You are not alone.”

I Was Hungry

“For I was an hungred, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in.” — Matthew 25:35 (KJV)
